1. Introduction

Thank you for choosing Ximoo. By using our app, website, or services (“Ximoo”, “we”, “us”, “our”), you agree to these Terms & Conditions. Ximoo is built for adults looking to connect through shared interests, activities, and real-world experiences, including video profiles and speed-dating sessions. If these terms do not work for you, please do not use the platform.

2. Eligibility

  • Ximoo is an adults-only space. You must be 18 years or older to join.

  • By creating an account, you confirm that:

  • You are 18+

  • You are legally allowed to access dating/social platforms

  • Underage Use
    We do not allow anyone under 18 to use Ximoo.

  • If we believe an account belongs to a minor, it may be:

  • Removed immediately

  • Deleted (unless safety or legal factors require a hold)

  • Reported to relevant authorities

  • Users who misrepresent their age do so at their own responsibility.

3. Account Responsibilities

To help maintain a respectful community, you agree to:

  • Use your real identity

  • Provide accurate information

  • Interact respectfully

  • Follow UK laws

  • Use Ximoo for personal, social, or dating purposes only

You may not:

  • Create accounts for others or minors

  • Impersonate any person

  • Harass, intimidate, threaten, or stalk

  • Share private information without consent

  • Upload explicit, violent, or harmful content

  • Attempt to engage with minors

  • Create fake profiles or mislead others

  • Use Ximoo for commercial outreach without permission

  • Interfere with security systems or moderation tools

Violations may lead to a permanent ban without refund.

4. Activity-Based Matching & Events

Ximoo helps users:

  • Discover matches based on shared activities

  • Join curated activity rooms

  • Check in to partner venues via QR

  • Attend social meetups

Please note:

  • Ximoo does not supervise in-person interactions

  • You are responsible for your own decisions and safety

  • Venues may enforce their own rules

We do not take liability for:

  • Offline interactions

  • Venue experience or quality

  • Conduct of users outside the app

Always meet in public places and use responsible judgment.

5. Speed Dating & Video Features

Ximoo offers:

  • 15–30 second speed-dating sessions

  • Monthly free minutes with paid upgrades

  • Video-first profiles enhanced by Banuba

  • No recording or saving of speed-date sessions

Users must not:

  • Record or capture video dates

  • Share conversations outside the app

6. Banuba & Video Technology

Ximoo uses Banuba for video creation and authenticity checks.
Video is processed and discarded.
We do not store biometric templates.
Banuba’s terms may apply where relevant.

7. In-App Purchases & Subscription

Subscription tiers:

Higher tiers provide increased:

  • Swipes

  • Speed-dating time

  • Visibility & filters

  • Access to premium events & venues

Payments processed via Apple/Google.

 

Auto-Renewal

​Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled through your App Store or Google Play settings. Deleting the app does not cancel an active subscription.

 

Refunds

Refunds follow Apple/Google store policies only.
Access remains active until the end of the billing period.

​

Future features may include in-app currency and sticker purchases.

8. Safety & Moderation

We use a mix of automated systems and human review to maintain a safe environment.

We may remove content or accounts for:

  • Harassment or hate speech

  • Explicit or harmful content

  • Attempts to engage with minors

  • Safety concerns or misconduct

  • Fraud or misrepresentation

  • Security issues
     

You can report concerns via the app or by emailing support@ximoo.com.

9. No Liability for User Conduct or Underage Evasion

Ximoo is not responsible for:

  • Users who misrepresent age or identity

  • Online or offline interactions

  • Emotional or physical harm resulting from user actions

  • Underage individuals who attempt to evade restrictions

  • Experiences at third-party venues

Users accept full responsibility for their choices.

10. Intellectual Property

Ximoo owns the platform, visuals, platform structure, and technology. You may not copy, scrape, or reverse-engineer the platform.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts for violating our policies. Users may delete their accounts at any time through settings.

12. Governing Law

These terms follow the laws of England & Wales. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of England & Wales
